It has always seemed to us that the Andalusian white villages have that charm that the peoples of the South have, their friendly people, those alleys full of flowers on the balconies in spring, those terraces full of people taking advantage of every moment, that life free of rush and tension of the big cities, in short, that kind of life that only the towns offer.
After this last year that we have had to live, deprived of freedom and of that capacity for movement to which we were accustomed, it has led us to reflect on our way of living, to value the environment that surrounds us, the space where we live …
We continue to think about the great capacity that human beings have to adapt to this new way of life that has been proposed to us, new technologies offer us the possibility of teleworking, online meetings … all this has made us consider the possibility of living at a different pace, in diverse places where you can enjoy every moment…. All this has come to stay, there is no turning back.
Since Miguel told us about that new town house that he had in his portfolio, it seemed like an incredible opportunity to be able to enjoy a charming project, a different project.
The project was quite a challenge, a house with a very good location, with a lot of charm, but in a very poor state of conservation. Life had treated it badly, it had been rented and the former tenants, to adapt them to the needs of their business, had raised the old hydraulic floors to pass their electrical installations … thus breaking part of the history of the house.
Miguel, as a good professional, was aware of the difficulty for buyers to see the potential that the home has, that is why he raised the possibility of resorting to Home Staging, that is, to prepare the home to market it.
In this case, as the housing reform is going to be carried out by potential buyers, we have carried out a virtual Home Staging project. What does this mean? We have made a virtual project of what the house would look like if it were reformed and thus get the most out of the house, enhancing all the highlights of the space.
In the first place, a project was made to redistribute the spaces since the house was highly compartmentalized, creating open spaces where the light from the façade and the patio would completely flood the house.
From the entrance of the house you can enjoy a hall with access to the large living and dining area, a wasted space outside was used to create a courtesy toilet on the ground floor that there was not, the kitchen was relocated, opening it to the patio with folding glass doors that allow us to enjoy the outside, a wonderful two-level patio with a dining area and a relaxation area with a pool included, in short, an improved distribution to enjoy a comfortable day area.
On the upper floor, the bedrooms were redistributed creating an en-suite bedroom, and a new bathroom was added to share with the other bedrooms, all with the charm of the sloping roof.
After the distribution, all the materials, furniture, carpentry, lighting, … of the house have been carefully selected so that the infographics reflect that reform project so thought and considered to enhance every corner of the house.
So that buyers know what the cost of the renovation is, an indicative budget has been made, which also includes a furniture budget so that they can get an idea, in short, a project to customize when it is purchased.
