This passion and creativity have captivated me, and I allow myself to introduce this team with a way of understanding architecture and the creation of unique homes.
The Gallego y Mota Arquitectos studio was born at the end of 2005. After seven years working separately, Isidro Gallego Domínguez (COAMALAGA 627) and José Antonio Mota Cerezuela (COAMALAGA 1016) decided to join forces and qualities to tackle Architecture as a team.
Recently one of his emblematic works has been chosen by the prestigious National Geographic, as one of the twelve avant-garde points of interest in beautiful Malaga. (link)
«A WHOLE EXPERIMENT
Built in 1961, the Vértice building is an ode to white Mediterranean architecture, albeit without whitewashing, and with the daring intention of interfering in debates on architectural methodology since 2011. Because it was in this year that a remodeling that intertwined conceptual intentions became a reality and experimental in a dilapidated block with a rationalist air on Calle Hilera. The work of Malaga architects José Antonio Mota and Isidro Gallego, from the Gallego&Mota studio, the Grupo Vértice headquarters is full of spectacular diagonal lines with white glass-reinforced concrete that makes it almost a sculpture.
